• Vinasithamby Kanagasingam Prize for being the best student in English Literature at the Honours

• Dr. Vijayaratnam John Manoharan Kennedy memorial award for the best dissertation in English Literature given by the University of Jaffna.

• University prize for the best performance in English Literature at the fourth examination in Arts.
