The Department of English Language Teaching (DELT) is committed to practical, task-oriented aspects of Teaching English as a Second Language to all the Faculties of the University. The ESL and ESP courses orient to enhance the English Language competencies of the undergraduates in order to excel in their academic discipline and professional career. In addition to the auxiliary course/enhancement courses, it also offers a General Degree programme in ELT and hopes to offer a special degree programme in ELT in the coming years. The course orients to produce English Language teaching professionals who can seek employments in the educational institutions (state/private/self-employed) locally and internationally.
