Launch of Paran’s Taxonomy for Automatizing L2 Reading Skills
The Department of English Language Teaching (DELT), University of Jaffna, successfully hosted the launch of Paran’s Taxonomy for Automatizing L2 Reading Skills, authored by Mr. Vanniyasingham Paranthaman, Senior Lecturer at DELT. The event brought together academics, students, and invited guests to celebrate a significant scholarly contribution to the field of English Language Teaching.
The programme featured a series of engaging segments, including an introduction to the book, an overview of the proposed taxonomy, and insightful reviews by distinguished speakers. The ceremony was further enriched by the address of the Chief Guest, Dr. K. Shanmuganathan, Head of DELT, followed by the author’s reflections and acknowledgements.
