Working with Google NotebookLM
The second session of the workshop series introduced participants to Google NotebookLM and its potential applications in teaching, learning, and research. The session focused on how this AI-powered tool can support lesson material preparation, designing activities, content organisation, and resource management for educators.
Participants were guided through the practical uses of NotebookLM integrated with other GenAI applications such as ChatGPT in academic contexts, particularly in enhancing lesson preparation, research efficiency, and independent learning. The session also highlighted ways of integrating the platform effectively into English Language Teaching practices to create more engaging, organised, and productive learning experiences.
The session was conducted by Mrs. S. Sutharsan with the participation of the permanent, temporary, and visiting staff of the DELT.
